GENERAL RULES
Always read the information that gives tips and instructions on how to care for your furniture. Always read the cleaning product information and the declaration of contents before using on your new furniture. Do not use cleaning products containing abrasives and strong acids. Make sure that the furniture and its fronts are dry after use. This will make it easier to clean your furniture and will not cause moisture damage.
MAINTENANCE OF WORKTOPS
NATURAL STONE WORKTOPS
For daily cleaning, use a damp cloth and mild detergent. Remove large dirt particles and stains as quickly as possible. Avoid contact with acetone and aggressive cleaning agents such as metal polish, drain cleaner, and other corrosive substances. Do not use detergents with a pH value below 4 or above 10. For severe staining or discoloration, use a specialized cleaning cream or similar product with a damp cloth. Always test cleaning products on a small, inconspicuous area first.
CORIAN® WORKTOPS AND WASHBASINS
Corian® surfaces require minimal maintenance to stay clean and fresh. For everyday cleaning, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth and water. Most stains and grease can be removed with water and detergent. To maintain an even sheen, periodically wipe down the entire surface. Corian® is also repairable in case of mechanical damage.
DEKTON® AND HPL COMPACT WORKTOPS
These surfaces require very little maintenance. Regular cleaning with a soft sponge, warm water, and soap is recommended. Most neutral pH detergents are safe to use. To remove tough stains, scrub the surface with a detergent, then rinse with warm water.
MAINTENANCE OF CERAMIC WASHBASINS
Ceramic washbasins have a hard, glazed, and durable surface. For best results, clean the washbasin with a lightly damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid using tools containing abrasive materials, as well as caustic soda, which can erode the glazed surface. Black marks may appear when the ceramic glaze comes into contact with metal objects, but these can be removed using a ceramic eraser.
MAINTENANCE OF SHOWER ENCLOSURES
Under a microscope, glass surfaces reveal tiny pores that can trap dirt, soap residue, and other deposits over time, especially in areas with hard water. To keep your glass sparkling, regular cleaning is essential. The most effective and eco-friendly way to maintain a clean shower is to use a squeegee or wipe the glass with a soft cloth after each use, preventing unnecessary limescale buildup.
For stubborn dirt, we recommend using specially designed cleaning products, available at most supermarkets. Always read the instructions to ensure the product is suitable for your surface. Avoid using sponges or abrasive cleaning pastes, as they can scratch glass and metal surfaces. Extra care should be taken with patterned or frosted glass—if unsure, test a small area first.
Household vinegar (maximum 12%) is also effective against limescale deposits. Simply apply, let it sit, then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth or terry towel.
MAINTENANCE OF MIXERS
Regular cleaning is recommended to keep your mixer in optimal condition. This helps prevent soap residue and limescale buildup while maintaining the surface finish. For weekly cleaning, use a soft cloth with a mild soap solution or a neutral pH cleaning fluid. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft, dry cloth.
Avoid harsh scouring agents and abrasive cleaners, as they can permanently damage the surface. Never use cleaning agents containing acid, chlorine, or alcohol, as these can cause stains and surface deterioration. If such products are used nearby, ensure that vulnerable surfaces are protected from splashes. Additionally, avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the mixer, as internal components may be damaged.
If lubrication is required, use only silicone grease.
MAINTENANCE OF MIRRORS AND MIRROR CABINETS
Clean mirrors using a glass cleaner and a soft cloth. For aluminium and chrome surfaces, use a mild detergent mixture (1:8 ratio) applied with a damp cloth.
