Finnish bathroom partition manufacturer HIETAKARI was founded in 1993 by Tuula Hietakari in Naantali, Finland. The product is manufactured of 6mm thick tempered safety glass. One side of the satin panel is etched to acquire a velvety feel and the other side is smooth.
The profiles mounted to the edges of the panel are manufactured of aluminium. Black (RAL 9005) surface is powder painteded. The shower enclosure consists of two fixed walls and two sliding doors. The doors move behind the fixed walls, so that they would not require space for opening. The fixed walls and the doorway can be dimensioned so that the fixed walls protect the fixtures and the doorway occupies the width of the available space space. The doors slide behind the fixed parts supported by the bearing wheels installed into the top edge of the door. The bottom parts of the doors move in the guide groove of the lower slide rail. A magnet seal keeps the door tightly closed during showering. Doors are equipped with long profile handles of the height of the entire panel.
The shower enclosure is attached to the wall of the building from the sides by means of wall mounted profiles. The product can be installed off the floor with the help of an adjustment leg, in order to allow water to flow under the slide rail. Alternatively, the flow of water can be prevented by installing a seal (standard part) under the slide rail. The adjustment leg and the seal (standard part) are standard equipment.
